Sri Chakra Traditional Art is an institute run by Sri. M.S Anand. He has been mastering the style of the Mysore and Tanjore paintings by understanding its traditional values and improvising on its ancient techniques for the past decade.

He is also the recipient of the Mysore Dasara Award. The Mysore Dasara Award is awarded for excellence in Mysore style painting.

Journey till now:

M. S Anand is a resident of Mysore, Karnataka in India. He began his journey in the field of Art by doing his Bachelors in Fine Arts (BFA) from Chamarajendra Academy of Visual  Arts (CAVA). After working in an Advertising Agency in Chennai for 2 years he decided to learn traditional painting. His trust to learn traditional painting took him to the famous Chettinad Ashram for a 3 year Diploma course in Tanjore Paintings.  His reputation is such that a large number of students enroll to learn and master the art of Mysore and Tanjore paintings every year. In the year 2009, the number of enrollments was more than 100 students. His credibility is also understood by the fact that he has also sold more than 1000 paintings till date and continues to have orders in the pipeline at any given time.
